Commission Information

Thank you so much for considering me to capture your loved one in a work of art. Below you will find information if you would like to commission a portrait of your pet from me.

Photo Requirements for a Portrait

If your pet can’t sit still, don’t be afraid to say so and send them as well! If you have browsed my gallery “Bratt” was three seperate, blurry photos!

Get down to your Pet’s Level

Try not to take a photo while standing over your pet, this motion is natural since this is how we see our pets every day. Try to sit on the floor or crouch to catch a photo of your pet eye-to-eye on the same level before they come lunging at you for love.

Lighting

Good lighting makes it possible to see details, such as the color of your pet’s eyes, and gives a more accurate look at the color of their coat. If you have a certain pose of your pet that you love, but the photo quality isn’t that great, that’s okay. Try taking a few more higher quality photos of your pet so I can implement those details to the pose.

Mini Portrait Series

POPULAR! Mini portraits are done with Acrylic paint on 2″x2″ and 4″x4″ stretched cotton canvas that come with a mini easel to display! These mini easels can also be left natural or painted in any color of preference.

Mini Portrait Series
2″ x 2″ with Mini Easel $35
4″ x 4″ with Mini Easel $45

Standard Portraits

Standard portraits are done with Acrylic paint on stretched Linen canvas (1 ½” deep) or Linen Panels (1/8″ thick). Linen is a great surface to produce fine details on, so they are a great option for portraits.

**For multiple pets in one painting, it will be 20% extra for each additional pet.   Backgrounds may be an additional cost depending on the complexity.

For larger commissions, I can send progress pictures!
